As mentioned last week, I’ve teamed up with Enterprise rent-a-car to put together a long weekend itinerary for the Florida Keys, and am sharing some new ideas of things to do over the month of August, including a couple of sides trips not listed in the post. Find the full itinerary here.
Here’s another way to spend a long weekend in the Florida Keys. This is a Key West alternative / day trip to Dry Tortugas National Park. Instead of the itinerary's original options for a day in Key West—Hop on the ferry, spend the day exploring, snorkelling and taking in a bit of history at Fort Jefferson.
The best part is that you guys can win some awesome prizes! Head over to the blog post to enter by commenting where you would go and what you would drive. For even more chances to win, and more prizes, you can join our Twitter chat this Wednesday night by following the hash tag #EnterpriseEverywhere on Twitter, at 7pm EST. Seriously—just come say hi for a chance to win 1 of 3 travel prize packs.
#LoveFL Nothing but blues, greens and whites in the Florida Keys with dashes of islands to break up the horizon.
#LoveFL If I could find a job that just let me take photos of the sunsets from Mallory Square in Key West, I would be perfectly happy.
#bbbkw #LoveFL The space between old and new. At the north end of Seven Mile Bridge in Marathon, Florida.
